Strange behavior: GENERIC.MP vs ports/net/centericq

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

  Scenario:

  - GENERIC.MP (Jun/30)
  - centericq-4.9.11 (ports)

When using GENERIC.MP, the system *really freezes* after centericq
sucessfully connects to the icq server. I can't even get a ddb from
it, it's not a panic, it's a real freeze, no keyboard, mouse, serial
or video output too. Happens into X or console.

I have tryied running it under gdb and systrace, but it still just
  freezes the system.

When using the non-MP GENERIC kernel, everything goes fine and
  works as expected.

I have reproduced this problem on two different i386 single processor
machines, an AMD Duron 800 and a Pentium IV 2.4. I'll be testing it
  on macppc later.

If you care, please test this software combination. It may be
a serious bug. This is not a troll.

  Best Regards,
