tcic driver problem... (fwd)
I have a Databook 86072 based ISA -PCMCIA bridge that just dont want to
work in 2.8-release the kernel recognizes and configs the interface,
however it will not detect card changes and network cards that work under
2.8-release on my laptop which is PCIC based do not function at all (the
cards include a LinkSys 802.11 card (wi*), a 3com/Megahertz 3CCFE574BT
10/100 NIC (ep*), and a Megahertz XJack 56K Modem.) The system has 2 HHDs
one that runs Windows2K w/ SP1 and the TCIC PCMCIA with NIC,Modem or
PCMCIA Based ZIP2500 functions fine there.
any pointers or known bugs here? I saw a couple of messages in the mailing
list about this same issue but didnt find a resolution. Any help is
greatly appreciated.
