Laptop boot issues...

Hey all...

Quick question. I've installed OBSD 2.7 on a Micron laptop
(Celeron 500). However, I can't get it to boot to save my life... I'm
currently having to boot off the CD and, at the boot loader, reset boot
device to hd0a, and go forward from there. Not exactly a nice solution.
Here's the problem: when I boot off the hard drive, it gets to "Using
Drive: 0 Partition: 3", and hangs. Never gets to the boot loader.
At first, I thought this was an LBA issue; I've seen that before
(where turning on or off LBA mode fixes this)... however, in this case,
that hasn't fixed the problem.
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong, and what I can do to fix it?
