There are legitimate reasons for wanting to run two logical subnets over the
same physical network.  In particular, it can be very useful when
renumbering a large network a few machines at a time.

Furthermore, if the message is intended to serve some diagnostic purpose,
perhaps it should be rephrased for greater clarity.
