Re: System hangs - OpenBSD 2.8/Intel



Thanks for the responses. I did a kernel recompile with NMBCLUSTERS=8192 and
increased the SB_MAX in /usr/src/sys/sys/socketvar.h to (2048*1024). When i
rebooted the machine, i found that the network daemons could not get bind to
sockets because the system was out of "buffer space".

What is the relation between the two, if any? With 128 MB RAM, to what limit
can i increase SB_MAX?
