An experimental patching framework...

Hi all,

I've been experimenting with a system to automatically retrieve and
install OpenBSD patches, the idea being to reduce the amount of
drudge-work system admins need to do in this regard.

A web page with more detail and sample "code" for the brave lives at:

	http://www.fernhilltec.com.au/~adrian/OpenBSD/patching/

I am unconvinced that this is the best way to do things, and it certainly
has rough edges, but it does work to a certain degree.

I'd appreciate any comments people might have. Ideally I'd like to take
this idea to a finely-honed conclusion and make it part of the OpenBSD
support infrastructure, since I think this is a "service" that most, if
not all, of us could use.

Thanks,
