rshd and CVS

Hi.  It seems to me that cvs-over-rsh is pretty much toasted by rshd's
pretty paranoid approval process.  I think I fail immediately because I am
not generating the call from port 512-1024.

I'm getting a Permission Denied problem, and I've thoroughly checked file
permissions.  I can cvs-over-ssh no problem, but not rsh. (Don't ask, it's a
requirement... <sigh>)

Have others setup cvs in the normal rsh mode?  Was there anything special
used to do it?

I have checked the archives and found but slim pickings.
