broken dependancy in gnome packages for 3.0?

When trying to install gnome on 3.0, several packages fail with the error:

'pkg_add(<pkgname>): add of dependency 'GConf-1.0.1-db3' failed!'

The packages failing with this error include:

gnome-core-1.4.0.4
gnome-vfs-1.0.1
control-center-1.4.0.1

GConf-1.0.1 is in the tree, and installed, but GConf -1.0.1-db3 doesn't
seem to exist anywhere.
Any ideas short of a clean build from CVS sources?
