This is more of a misc thread, really, but MSW2k on this box often complains
about what OBSD does to the FAT/long-name volume I am using to pass files
between them, regularly scanning that volume on boot after I have written
something complex on it from OBSD 2.9. But it hasn't actually claimed to
have
"fixed" the file system yet. And I haven't lost anything. So I don't worry
about it.
About the "shyness" manifest in the man pages, I have assumed there might be
legal ramifications if there were actual claims of support for the MSW file
systems. Besides, if you want to do heavy-duty or regular communication
between MSWindows and obsd, you might find samba file sharing much more
convenient.
