Two questions:

1. Is this panic happening on Install, or After install?
If durning istall, you cannot get the dmesg out, unless you write it by 
hand. (I did)


2.Why the large Swap File? You have 1 GB of memory. What Petroleum corporate 
multi-marix image processing are you planning on doing??

Possibly 1.1GB would be closer/better rather than simply doubling it.
If it was a G3 400 with 128 Mb of RAM and I use 256Mb as swap, I can see 
this as a rational choice, but for 1GB?

ppc_obsd:
I have not returned to getting my B&W G3 operational, because I got a Panic 
on install when the kernel encountered the disk_io systems.
Dale Rahn was kind enough to assist, but I ran out of time when the 
Mac/ISO9660 for 3.0 was broken.

I decided to triage my losses and run Yellow Dog Linux, and limp-about with 
that. My Dell pII 400 runs oBSD 3.0 and all I use it for is running mySQL, 
and setiathome...
