I'm in the same sort of situation as you, except with a HP NetRAID 1si.
I've tried a few things to see if it would work, but I'm no expert.
Try configuring an array with the default utility (BIOS or DOS-based)
and boot with a 3.3 boot floppy (try floppy33B.fs first).
