3c905 woes

Is anyone using a 3c905 card?  I'm running 2.2 release on a p75 with 64MB
of RAM and two 3c905 cards; the machine is acting as a firewall.  I have
two major problems:

A) The cards seem to be performing very slowly (on the order of 400KB/s
over 100mbit ethernet).  I haven't been able to verify that this is the
cards or the machine routing packets; I'll know tomorrow.  I'm just
wondering if anyone else has seen this.

B) If I run tcpdump, the interface that I dump from dies.  See system/359.

I'd appreciate any help/information.
