(2) Reboots with no message/info 2.5 i386
Hey,
Twice in about 30 minutes my machine rebooted without halt(8). Both times
i was in XWindows using netscape (bsdos emu, bsdi binary) window maker and
a few xterms. (dmesg is attached)
first time it just rebooted without freezing, heard the modem drop carrier
and then was looking at my #9 video bios banner. Second time froze dead,
hitl ctrl-alt-backspace, killed the x window and instantly rebooted. your
guess is surely better than mine, whould a debug(able) kernel be able to
stop this madness or do I need to go some other route
any pointers on how to at least invesitgate this would be appreciated..
btw before today i ran this machine for about a week solid in X and
netscape, etc with no funny rebooting....
tia
