Re: Dumb Terminals

Yep, I understood everything and its going into my notes.
I have had to forget about the pcmcia ether card because it is flat out
not working. I give it an ip booting with the install flop (ie. go to
shell, ifconfig 192.168.1.3.) but I get "Ethernet: media manual". WHen
I try to do: ifconfig ne3 media 10baseT, it tells me the device is not
configured. I simply dont know what to do.
I consulted the FreeBSD Handbook and followed what it said along what
you posted and I supose i have the server side of configured (editing
/etc/ttys and reinit init) but I dont know how to connect?telnet? to
the server:) hehe, once again thanks in advanced

Cheers,
Kraftwrk
