You are looking for DDNS - dynamic DNS. It's not intrisic to BIND 8
at this time. Vixie gave a nice little talk on BIND 9 at BayLISA
a couple months ago and (legal) issues they have with signed zones.
You COULD script an "nsupdate" thing when a DHCP lease is GIVEN
and accepted (not requested). Issues arise with updating multiple
servers and how long those records are cached down the line. Not
simple. Do a net search for DDNS (rfcs, dns helpful sites, etc)
and you should get a bit more info.
