Mac68K install error

I'm attempting to install OpenBSD 2.5 on a Mac Centris 610 with 16MB RAM
and, oddly enough, 9GB Barracuda. The 68LC040 has been replaced with a
standard 68040, so as far as I know, it's essentially equivalent to a
Quadra 610 (please correct me if I'm wrong.)

After paritioning my unmounted drive (via Mkfs 1.45, into the supported
MacOS[1024 MB]/Root [3051]/User [4096]/Swap [512]), I always get the
following error the with install program:

sd0 at scsi ID 0. [The primary drive to install on]
sd1 at scsi ID 4. [The Syquest I've booted off of]
Mounting parition 'A' as /

sd0d: Other (APLLE_PATCHES) 'Patch Partition' at 192 size 512
sd0e: HFS_PART 'foobarred' at 704 size 2097152

[Syquest drive info]
Error on SCSIRead(), # 5
failed mountfs(), error 22.
Error mouting root.
moutn root. : Undefined error: 0

At that point, all I can do is exit the program; nothing else functions.
I've never installed OpenBSD on a mac68k platform before, but everything
seems to look okay to me up until the SCSIRead() - is this what the
standard output resembles?. I've tried changing SCSI ids, partition sizes,
checking the mailing list archives, and a variety of nonsensical acts,
with no positive results. Any suggestions? What is SCSIRead error #5, or
mountfs error 22?

Thanks in advance,
Barclay Osborn
