I'm having problems with my mouse under X....maybe someone has some insite. I
have a Miro$oft PS/2 Intellimouse(IntelliMouse 1.1A PS/2 to be exact)and it
sort of works. Left and right buttons work fine but I want to enable the middle
button and roller(if possible). I've tried all the mouse protocols that
XF86Setup offers and I can only get 2 buttons to work...are there other
protocols in the version of XF86 that ships w/v2.5 that XF86Setup doesn't know
about? Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm using /dev/pms0 and I also have
/dev/mouse linked to /dev/pms0. My /etc/XF86Config pointer section is:
Section "Pointer"
Protocol "BusMouse"
Device "/dev/mouse"
Emulate3Timeout 50
Resolution 100
Buttons 3
Emulate3Buttons
EndSection
I've tried it w/o Emulate3Buttons active and I've tried different protocols.
