My reply was not out of doubt that you suggestion was wrong in technical terms,
but that if I am going to finnish the gnome port, I can't put in the docs
that you have to be root to run it.  That is just not going to fly.

Though I thank you for your response, I really need an answer that will work
for users as a whole.
