The pro10/isa cards use the 'ex' driver,
while the pci cards use 'fxp'
I don't know if the chips are significantly different or not, but the newer
100Mb fxp cards are excellent, and you can probably expect good performance
from any pci 'fxp' card. ex is terribly slow, not much more you can say
about it.
