RE: Intel EtherExpress pro/10+ cards
I have had great success with an NE2000 card... but it's the card which goes
to my cable-modem, which is 2Mbps up, 512K down, so it really is no
bottleneck. Other than that, however, I can't think of what I'd use it
for... mind you. If I stripped of all the little jutting-out bits of metal I
could set my UN*X coffee mug on it!

Hit the archives for nightmares that people have with ne2k's.
$20 for ethernet is too good to be true. The things were designed
for 386/20s that were slower than ethernet.
