As he pointed out on the list, he tried it having been warned it might
not work, it didn't work as warned, and he accepted the cost of
shipping the system around to upgrade it.  His high crime was to
confirm to the list that it did not work, and to suggest that he might
contribute some effort on making it work at some time in the future.

As I pointed out, you seem to be singing praises of NT.  

I never touch the stuff, remotely or at the console.

I shall do so, in my copious spare time.

OS stability is a priority for me, and I like OpenBSD in that regard.
