I have a mail-web-ftp server running OpenBSD 2.7 and it crashed last
night. The message was (on blue background):
Panic: pmap_alloc_pv: pgi_nfree inconsistant
As I didn't know what to do, I just reboot. It was running for many months
without any crash, so I wonder what happened.
I would like to know if it is possible to identify possible causes of the
crash, the logs indicate that there was no network activity on the
server. Just to know what to do to prevent the server to crash again, if
the few information I provide are enough.
