The AMD64 architecture is mistakenly identified as a 386.
I'm not yet sure if this is what is stopping OpenBSD from installing on
my system, but either way, this probably is a problem for all platforms
with AMD64 cpus. It would make sense to identify it an Athlon as I'm
assuming that's its closest sibling. I would give you a dmesg, but I
can't. If nobody has an Opteron to test the kernel patch with, I'll
test it. I'm pretty sure there might be "legacy" code associated with a
386 that an Opteron or any newer CPU might bark at.
