Greetings. I'm running Openbsd 3.4 on a Sparc64 IIi system, as well as
3.4 on my i386 system, each of which I am using IDE hard drives. I am
encountering a very strange issue that I have never experienced before.
My 120gig 8mb buffer western digital drive reads and mounts fine on my
sparc64 system (mount /dev/wd1a /mnt/phatty), but as soon as I hook it
up to my i386 system, I get a "invalid filesystem structure error". I
tried it both internally and via an external USB enclosure, each of
which give the same problem.
If anyone might know the problem, a reponse would be greatly apreciated
Andrew
