I use pppd on my i386 OpenBSD 2.3 machine to talk to my PalmPilot Pro, using
Directlink.

However, I was never able to get the 2.3 pppd to work.  I forget how far it
gets, but at some point it just hangs.  The 2.2 pppd running on a 2.3 system
works fine.

The latest version of pilot-link seems to have trouble shutting down the
connection.  It works but takes forever.  Version 0.8.7 works fine.
