I'm having dreaded "signal 11" problems on a sparc2 running 2.3.
I've read the posts about it happening on Intel, but has anybody had
them on SPARC?
What prompted this was another problem...
When I recompiled the kernel, I began having /bin/sh and /bin/ksh
problems. Mainly, any shell scripts would barf with the first few
lines of my environment variables. I read the post on that and decided
to recompile ksh, only to get the error below.
cc -o ksh alloc.o c_ksh.o c_sh.o c_test.o c_ulimit.o edit.o emacs.o eval.o exec.o
expr.o history.o io.o jobs.o lex.o mail.o main.o misc.o missing.o path.o shf.o syn.o
table.o trap.o tree.o tty.o var.o version.o vi.o
cc: Internal compiler error: program ld got fatal signal 11
*** Error code 1
Stop.
This happens at what I think is the end of make. Can anybody help?
Thanks!
