Hi.
I'm using netatalk with a P133 OpenBSD 2.3 machine - the VERSION file in
the netatalk distribution reads 981013.
The problem I'm having is that when a user tries to view a quicktime movie
(.mov) they get a permission error. If they copy it to their desktop it
works fine.
I did a search on hotbot for this and in a message last year found a
reference to what seems to be the same problem. The author included a
patch for solaris - I cant code so I havn't got a clue what it does.
Heres the url for the post though:
http://ume.med.ucalgary.ca/usenet/NetAtalk/0051.html
Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? It doesn't happen on an
NT box with mac file sharing - accoring to the old mail it is due to
incorrect file locking.
Thanks a lot
Ian
