OpenBSD 2.5 and Adaptec AIC-7890

Will OpenBSD 2.5 work with an Adaptec AIC-7890 SCSI controller?
I booted from the install floppy, early in the installation procedure
it asks for the root disk, but the list of disks to choose from is empty.

The hardware itself seems OK. I could install Redhat 5.2 Linux on the
same machine without any problems.

Any thoughts?
