I'm running a stock generic i386 OBSD 2.7 setup, and I'm having an issue
when I enable xdm.
My main account is configured via .xinitrc to launch afterstep (fully pathed
in the file), while root is configured with the default window manager.
If I enable xdm (with no flags) in rc.conf, I get the login screen fine, but
if I log in as the user account, it acts as if the window manager is
starting (although Afterstep never starts), and I get booted right back to
the login screen. However, if I log in as root, it works fine.
I thought it was a pathing issue, but I changed the .xinitrc to explicitly
point to the afterstep executable and it still didn't help.
I'm guessing I'm missing something easy here, but I can't figure out what it
is...
