with a generic kernel, i can't suspend my machine, and i get this error
ever second or so:
apm0: should disable
apm0: APM periodic get event: interface not engaged (11)
with a custom kernel, if i suspend, the video section goes away
completely. no more X, no more console. video comes back after a
reboot. in my custom kernel i set the flags on apm0 to "0x0101" to force
APM 1.1. if i don't do that, i get those apm errors.
this is with the sept. 22 snapshot. i suppose it's time to update, hm?
dmesg.gen generic dmesg
dmesg.desdemona custom dmesg
xout.gen X output with a generic kernel
xout.desdemona X output with a custom kernel
xout.desdemona.xzzz X output with a custom kernel after a suspend
