Re: 3COM 905XL tx underrun?



As I posted to this list a few hours ago (please do check the archives
first :), my machine also shows this, and I have yet to notice any
problems with it. It is serving as a NAT/firewall for three other
computers, in addition to an ftpd.

The way I read the error message, it is increasing the size of a dynamic
buffer. The card ends up sending faster than the CPU could supply it
with packets, so the CPU makes more space for the packets for the card
to send.

Of course, I could be wrong, but I would expect Theo/someone else to
chime in and tell me I am wrong if this were the case. :)
