Hi,
I just installed the latest 2.8 snapshot on a Celeron 600 with an Intel
eepro (fxp). Now the following is reproduceable:
- ftp to ftp.de.openbsd.org, get comp28.tgz -> gets 3768 kb, then freezes
- ftp to ftp.gigabell.net, same
- same with bsd (kernel), it's just that here it freezes at 410kb
While ftp hangs, I'm still able to connect from or to the machine. I can
interrupt ftp, start it again and it will always fail at a certain point
of time/transfer. There's nothing in dmesg, nothing in messages.
I got the files using a 2.7 box now... but is there anything I can do to
provide more information? Does the fxp driver has a debug mode? (I found
nothing in man fxp).
Greetings,
Volker
