heya,
I'm getting a dell precision workstation with the following spec and was
wondering if there is any reason why it won't run OpenBSD? (I noticed that
there were complaints about the ASUS mobo with an intel chipset..)
Intel 820i Chipset (Don't know the mobo maker though)
Intel PIII 800MHz
RDRAM memory (2 RIMM slots)
Six Expansion Slots - one 4xAGP, one PCI/RAID,
and four 32-bit PCI
Integrated EIDE/ATA-66 controller. Max: 3 IDE devices
(hard drive, ZIP, CD, CD-RW, DVD)
Its possibly not too late for me to change the order if it is a prob.
Cheers!
-- joe. (I did check my back archives of misc && tech for mentions but
couldn't find any.)
