Once again, thanks to misc@ for assistance with my mundane issues. ;)
For the record, I never was able to get userland PPP to work. However,
I got pppd working just fine after simply copying my Debian ppp scripts
over to the BSD box and making a couple minor edits. Which is fine by
me, I prefer in-kernel ppp anyway.
