Which I think will fail as the device appears to be IDE based.
I'm having similar woes on a FreeBSD system, the man page suggests that "dev=/dev/rcd1.ctl:@" may work.
I've not tried this yet, but FreeBSD has a burncd utility especialoly for IDE ATAPI devices, maybe it'll port to OpenBSD ???
