Re: Support for IDE CDburner



I have repeatedly tried that and similar things, it gives me errors, or craps out, and cdrdao says it doesn't even have a driver that supports it. I am downloading and ISO image to test, I will give the EXACT error message after I d/l it(I have cable so only like 1-2 hours)

cdrecord works just fine in OpenBSD with IDE/ATAPI drives, you just need to
specify the device that your cdrw device is connected with the dev= command
line. Something like:

cdrecord dev=/dev/cd0a myimg.iso

Try to look at the list archives for more information on that...
