I was able to get 'cdrecord' to work a few days ago, ummm,
using 'dev=/dev/cd0c:0,0,0' as the dev= portion. I think
I got that out of my dmesg, look for scsi (either case) in
your dmesg (on a different machine now, don't have the dmesg,
etc. info handy). 'cdrecord -scanbus' didn't work with out
the above 'dev=' portion as well.
