I was always under the impression that drivers were far from needed
under *nix systems -- the drive is seen as any other scsi drive, even
the atapi drives. (Since they are just emulating scsi on the ide bus.)
By `doesn't seem to have any working drivers' do you mean you looked
through a list and didn't find any thing that looked right, or did you
try each available driver in turn with no success?
