Re: i386 boot 1.29 hang- solved

I finally found it and it turned out (suprise)
to go along with what I found in google when
searching around the 'stray interrupt 7'. Turning
on the parallel port in the bios did the trick.
happy night!

Subject: i386 boot 1.29 hang-

Greetings list-
I need help with diagnosing and fixing a problem
that occured once in the archives without resolution.
The problem is the boot version 1.29 hangs after loading
npx0. This system boots/installs fine with boot 1.28
(openbsd 3.0). I've tried disabling drivers leading upto
and after npx0 to no avail. Only does removing npx0 get
rid of the hang. I finally got the system up from the snapshot
by going into boot -c, exiting the UKC console and then sending
a CRLF (enter) to the terminal, on which it would spit the
infamous 'stray interrupt 7' error. I'm all for recompiling
this kernel to fix this, just don't know where to start to
try and remedy this. I've tried disabling fd, lpt, pccom, hci, etc,
and flipping just about every single bios switch. Thanks
for you help. This is on a tyan 2469 with a single
athlon mp processor.
