  To be fair, Spamd isn't very effective, even with spews1+spews2.

MTA waste time.

  On the other hand, Spam Assassin, Bogofilter et al. need to get the mail
in order to analyze it. So it's too late, you don't waste spammers' time.

  So to get the best of two worlds, combine both :)
