Hi there,
has anyone successfully installed the courier-utils 1.5.3 package?. As I
need the userdb-utility for my courier-imap server (running OBSD 3.6), I
installed it:
fw# pkg_add -v courier-utils-1.5.3.tgz
Adding courier-utils-1.5.3.tgz
Dependencies for courier-utils-1.5.3 resolve to: gdbm-1.8.3
checking libspec gdbm.3.0 found libgdbm.so.3.0
extracting /usr/local/bin/deliverquota
extracting /usr/local/bin/maildirmake
extracting /usr/local/bin/makeuserdb
extracting /usr/local/bin/pw2userdb
extracting /usr/local/bin/userdb
extracting /usr/local/bin/userdbpw
extracting /usr/local/bin/vchkpw2userdb
[... and some manpages...]
/: 78191 bytes
However, this package only installs broken links to the utilities:
fw# file /usr/local/bin/makeuserdb
/usr/local/bin/makeuserdb: broken symbolic link to
`/usr/local/share/doc/maildrop/scripts/makeuserdb'
As a workaround, I then tried to install the maildrop-1.5.3 package,
however, problems continued there: the utilities were installed to
/usr/local/share/doc/maildrop/scripts, so the broken links were fixed,
but the maildirmake-utility fails with "maildirmake: can't load library
'libc.so.30.3'", and makeuserdb fails to create userdb.dat and
userdbshadow.dat (only userdb.lock, userdb.tmp, and userdbshadow.tmp get
created).
What´s the problem here?
