Some questions about CARP

Hi all,

  I have a customer who needs an HA solution based on
GNU software if is possible.

  I take a look about CARP feature under OpenBSD 3.6,
and I have some questions:

a) Is stable this solution for firewalls in production
environments??

b) How about VPN´s?? Is it possible to config VPN with
HA  with CARP? What kind of problems can I find,
perhaps with SA connections, connection state tables??

c) And the last question (and very important), what
type of tools exists to parse firewall logs (aside
from hatchet)??
