hi list,
i'm using spamd for some while and it is working well. but now i have a
problem recieving a mail from an postfix mta sitting behind a symantec spam
and viruswall. just watch the log:
>< 9:52:2 94 220 mail.recieving-domain.de ESMTP spamd IP-based SPAM
>blocker; Tue Nov 16 09:55:41 2004
> > 9:52:2 25 HELO mail.sending-domain.de
>< 9:52:2 58 250 Hello, spam sender. Pleased to be wasting your time.
> > 9:52:2 6 RSET
>< 9:52:2 32 500 5.5.1 Command unrecognized
>* 9:52:2 45 cachedCleanup: Connection removed from cache.
so after googling a bit, i found following patch to spamd to recognize the
rset command:
http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/openbsd/2004-09/1482.html
so i looked into the source changes wheather the patch got into the tree, but
didn't found it, maybe overlooked.
but as the message is of Sun Sep 19 2004, i don't think it's available in 3.6?
but maybe in current, or it is just not in tree? for now i addet that ip onto
the whitelist table of pf, so it is not reaching spamd.
but would be nice to know if and when it would be / was added to spamd.
