HP DL380 G3 RAID not supported?

hi,

i have a smart array 5si controller inside my HP DL380 G3 with 2 36GB SCSI HDDs configured as a Raid#1 using the RAID Firmware on the controller. booting Windoze or Suse, i find one disk with 36GB (my raid device)...
booting obsd, i find - nothing.
it seems obsd knows 'bout the controller but doesn't configure it for any reason. i played around using "boot -c" but nothing there did the trick.

does anyone have experiences with DLs and Smart Array Controllers for OpenBSD?

any hints/supports? i researched and googled but nothing helped... |-(
