As much as he wants; of course, you'll never see it, and your bandwidth 
is saved because of the slow speed of communication (multiply 
1byte/sec. by the number of seconds in a month and you'll see that any 
given spammer's maximum throughput). I've noticed in my logs a number 
of messages to the effect of "disconnected after 93 seconds". It would 
seem that some of the larger shops have decided they aren't going to 
talk to spamd anymore. Yay!
