Everybody thanks for the help and suggestions. We replaced the sis card
with another card (dc0 driver)
but the problems remained. After changing about everything (except
furniture) we took the network admin
hostage and tortured him until he admitted "parts of the network are
still cat3 which may affect performance
at 100mbit". Until that moment, we had to take the usual crap ranging
like "why don't we just get a windows server"
and "free software can't be good" for about one day, but now the OpenBSD
server shines like a star.
