I was wondering if this is normal or not....
When I telnet into my 3.6 OBSD box, I get this right away:
OpenBSD/i386 (foo.bar.com) (ttyp0)
but then the 'login:' prompt comes about 2-3 secs later
and I was wondering why?
I dont use wrappers and I run telnetd with -k -y.
I know its not DNS...thats the 1 thing I am really good at and this machine
runs its OWN dns....so there are no network delays with lookups..
Anythoughts?
thanks!
