If you don't insist on the umass mode of the iriver, ifp-line from
http://ifp-driver.sourceforge.net/
worked out of the box (IIRC). At least version 0.2.4.1 which
I have right here talks to my 390T well enough. Plus, I could
play OGG files early on. Yes, I know, there is now a OGG-umass
firmware.
