My home firewall right now is a P90 with 32M of RAM. I'm pretty sure
I ran it for a while with 16M, but I got tired of it swapping any time
I built anything. A lifetime ago, I was running a P75 for the same
task.
I'm not doing PPPOE, just PF with NAT. My DSL circuit is 640kb/s, and
it handles anything I throw at it (not that 640kb/s is a lot or
anything).
