Hello all,
I'm just wondering if anyone has had any success using an Intel Pro
2200BG wireless adapter that comes built into some of the IBM X series
laptops ?
I saw the following notice for the list of updates between 3.6 and
current (http://www.openbsd.org/plus.html)
"""
New ipw(4) and iwi(4) drivers, and ipwcontrol(8) and iwicontrol(8)
tools, supporting Intel 2100/2200BG/2915ABG wireless devices. Disabled
and non-operational due to silly distribution restrictions on the device
firmware files.
"""
But was wondering how people got it to work ? I'm considering getting
an X series, but wanted to see what people thought of the hardware
compatibility with OpenBSD.
Cheers
Dave
